Sometimes no plot just vibes really works, and in the case of this novel I didn't mind it one bit. In just two weeks, Brendon will try to show her that there's more to love than holding on, and that maybe it has even been there all along. Upon learning that Darcy is out of town with Elle, Annie spends the weekend with Darcy's brother Brendon, successful app creator and believer in true love, Annie is the exact opposite, sick of the modern dating scene and tired of trying. In this charming companion novel to Written in the Stars, we head back to Seattle with Annie, Darcy's long time best friend intent on surprising her for the weekend.
